I was having trouble opening OE6. I would like to let ya'll know it's no problem now. It was taking too long, up to a minute to open. After reading a few others with the same problem, there was a common denominator to the problem. MESSENGER. I now have HOTMAIL MESSNGER opening on the 'task bar' when I start my puter. If I want to use it, I just click on it. Problem solved. I don't know why the connection to OExpress6 but that was it. First I click on the MESSENGER icon then before or after signing in, while in the sign-in screen, I went to "tools": "options"; "preferences". and then 'checked' the first two options. "run this program when windows starts" and "allow this program to run in the background". That's it. Paca
