i am currently using outlook express 6 and would like to know how do i go about settting my email account to send emails only.

The mailitem has a to property that will return the recipients.

you could also use the recipients property to get the same thing.

You want to send e-mails only instead of what? Please explain.

If you don't want to receive, just put a bogus pop server in tools>accounts. You'll probably want to also go to tools>options, and tell it not to check for mail automatically (by default I believe it checks every 15 or 30 minutes).
