Outlook Express 6 Problem - HELP!

Hello, I have a big problem. My girlfriend has an identity set up in the Outlook Express 6 on my computer. She had retrieved her email messages then deleted them. The problem is that her deleted items are showing up in my identities deleted items folder! Now, she thinks I was reading her email without her consent! I have a Hotmail account set up through my Virtual Email address, and since Hotmail limits the space for each user, every few days I transfer the messages from hotmail's deleted items folder to the default deleted items folder in Outlook Express 6, thus being able to save as many as I wish on my local drive. PLEASE, can someone tell me how deleted items from her own identity could have ended up in the default deleted items folder that I use for my account?
