Help. The only person in our office (the boss) to use Outlook Express got a "outlook express has encountered a problem and must close" message yesterday. She sent the error message to Microsoft and then her whole computer locked up. She ended the open tasks (both were send error reports) and restarted the computer. She then did the latest Windows update. The she opened her OE. For about 6 seconds the inbox showed all 2000+ messages, and then suddenly the inbox had only 207 messages, with 47 unread messages. All messages since about 10/05/03 have disappeared. The sent file is complete. The deleted items file is complete. The drafts file is complete. I've run 4 different recovery/repair demo products on the computer, and all any of them find is the 207 messages. Help! What am I missing?
