Outlook Express 6.0 - From Field

Good Morning, i am trying to add the "from" field when sending new emails. Can this be done with Outlook Express or do i need to upgrade to Microsoft Outlook.

Do you have more than 1 email account set up in OE?

No, only one account. The situation is the user is receiving his personal emails and also he is part of a distribution list. Sometimes he needs to send emails as if he is the distribution list and not himself. I know that Microsoft Outlook allows your to insert the "from field" but I do not know if Outlook Express allows this?

Both Outlook & OE allow you to send from a different account if more than 1 account exists. If you want the recipients to see from 'listname' instead of from 'username' just create a duplicate OE account and change the friendly name in the account properties. Once there is more than 1, the sender should see the option to choose.
