I am running Windows ME,IE 5.5 SP2 and using Outlook Express 5. I am new to all this and had just built up a address book within OE5 which was coming together nicely.
Yesterday I installed MOffice 2000 Professional edition, which installed Outlook 2000. I checked Internet properties-Programs and made sure that OE was highlighted for email and address book for contact list.
When I went to send email from my OE5, the address book came up blank apart from my own name and "Welcome to contacts" I then checked via Windows explorer-my computer-drive C-Windows-Application Data-Microsoft-Address book that the address book default showed all my original contacts and email addresses. Could anybody please please tell me how to get my original address book back, when I want to write an email. Please note that when I send a web page link, Outlook Express 5 opens, after I changed Internet properties as mentioned above, but again, when I go to address the blank address book, as stated above is there.
