Outlook /Exchange issue

I need some help if possible please, I need to make Outlook 2000 which is in Corporate Workgroup mode leave mail on the Exchange server when I am at home on my personal machine so that when I am at the office I can access all the messages.

Everything is set up correctly I connect via a VPN,authenticate etc but the mail that I download at home is gone from the server when I access from the office the next day.

Using Outlook in Internet mail mode all I do is check the “Leave a copy on server” checkbox but this is not available when using the Exchange server.

The best thing to do is use the Out Of Office Assistant.
Tools->Out Of Office Assistant
This will open a window with certain options, just set up the top fields (they should be pretty obvious) and then a little down the window, check the box for Forward to a different mail account, and put in here your home address, this will also leave the original on your PC.
But make sure that on Exchange Server on your server is set to allow forwarding mails to the internet.
You have uncheck "Disable Out of Office responses to the Internet" and "Disable Automatic Replies to the Internet"

Another option is to set up a rule to forward all mails with your name in the To: field etc and send to your address....

Sorry if i did not explain myself I am using the same account at both locations.

Anyway I think I solved the problem we had "Deliver to Personal Folders" checked under Services>Delivery instead of the Mailbox name and I am told that was causing the messages to be downloaded to the home machine and not left on the Server.
