Hi there,
I've set up a system to create an email, insert another person's name in the FROM box, set the "Send Replies To" that same person, and request a read receipt for the email. On some of my systems this works like a charm. The email goes out and is FROM the person I stated, the replies go to that person's inbox, and the read receipts also go to that person.
But on TWO of my systems it doesn't seem to work. The read receipts go back to the original sender, NOT the person who's name we've specified in the FROM and REPLIES TO boxes.
It's not the local installation of Outlook, cos I've had them log on to a different computer to see if it still does it.
As far as I can see, all of their permissions to send on behalf of the main email account are exactly the same as everyone else.
So why isn't it working for them?
This is a huge issue at the moment cos the email goes out to about 20 people, and the poor administrator is beign bombarded with read receipts and replies, which SHOULD have gone to the central inbox that we've stated in teh FROM and REPLIES TO fields.
Any help would be most appreciated. As usual, the help desk here are clueless... ;0)
Thanks,
Leanne
