Outlook E-mail accounts error

Hello all,

I just switched from dial up to DSL. I am using Outlook to download my email. I have been unable to set up my new DSL email through Outlook. Any suggestions?

What ISP?
Verison of Outlook?
Any error messages?

Thanks for the response, Beowulf.

The ISP is a local provider in Johnstown, PA.
My machine's running Outlook XP.
There are no error messages per se.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

If you already have set up the mail account in hotmail then you must be getting some error. If you are not getting any error at all and want a startup help then I assume you have not setup any mail account till yet. To Do this go to Outlook Express --> Tools --> Accounts -->Add --> Mail... --> Fill in the wizard questions.

Only technical thing which it ask is for your SMTP and POP address and you need to ask them from your DSL Service provider. I hope it will help.
