We ran across a weird situation. We have discovered that some PDF files become corrupted when they are sent to us through Microsoft Outlook (I think it happens in Outlook Express as well). When we save the attachment and try to open (or just try to click on it and open), we receive an error message of "Insufficient Data for an Image". The problem is not there if the same file is sent to us through another email client, or FTP'd directly to us. We have found in at least one instance that the corrupted file is 4kb smaller than the original good one. It seems to happen to some PDF files, but not all of them. Has anyone else ran across this problem?
