I am currently using Secure Client build 4199 on Windows Xp, using MS Office XP. The problem is that when on the local LAN, users experience "refresh" issues while using Outlook. For instance; Outlook will be open and I can send the user an email and it will not show in their inbox until they perform an action that requires their machine to communicate with the Exchange server; such as opening another folder.

These issues disappear when SC is removed from the machine, or when the policy is unloaded from the machine.

Anyone else have this problem?

I to have encoutered this problem and it went away when SC was removed. However, I still do not have a solution to this problem, but will keep you updated if I find anything out. Joe

I'm having the same problem. I think Exchange Server notifies its clients of new mail via UDP packets, and those packets doesn't arrive to the client correctly.
We have found than using Outlook Offline feature and setting the option of "automatically synchronize offline folder" to 1 minute works pretty well. It isn't perfect, but is the only "patch" we can figure out.
