Hi everyone, we have a user where his Outlook disconnects and reconnects while either VPN'ed in or using RPC over HTTPS... I believe when he is direct on the network everything is fine. I know I know, it is hard to diagnose anything and everything wireless. My thoughts however might have something to do with the size of his mailbox. His account is over 8GB. We are using Outlook 2003 in Cached mode. The computer is a new Latitude laptop with a solid state disk drive. Maybe I have no problem at all here, he is overly concerned because the computer is new etc etc...

With a mailbox that big, it may well be that Outlook has so much to do to check the mailbox that it gets a timeout and goes offline.

Anything in the event log?

I haven't checked the event log yet but I will the next time I have control of his laptop... thanks for the suggestion.
