Hi,Im looking into changing the default font (permanently) when users start to compose an email, from Arial 10 to 12. I was hoping to use a logon script as we have over a 100 PC's which need to be updated. We are using Outlook 2002. I need some direction on were the default font can be changed?? Any ideas please reply cos im going round in circles.
Thanks.

(In Outlook 2003) Choose Tools - Options, click on the Mail Format tab, go down and edit your font name, size, etc. This assumes you're sending your mail in rich text or HTML format. If you are sending in Plain Text I don't believe you are allowed to change the font, as it will default to however the recipient has the fonts setup on their computer upon receipt of your message. I believe they would have to change their "System Font" in Windows to adjust for that.

Thanks donb01 but I need the change to apply to more than 100 PCs. We cant rely on users changing it themselves as you can imagine... thx for your reply..

Yeah - I saw that the second time I read it. Sorry. :(

I would got with 58sniper - there has to be a group policy setting somewhere....

Have you tried going to technet.microsoft.com and searching for a solution?

I looked through it this morning with no joy also.. sure i will keep checking the net but im not holding my breath. Thanks for your help 58sniper, donb01. :-(

I spent about a half-hour on technet yesterday looking and didn't find anything. I had to stop to do some actual work )
