I am using Outlook 2000 in Corporate/Workgroup mode to handle several email accounts.
Is there a way to easily specify which one of my email accounts I would like to use as the FROM field for each new mail message that I compose just like I can do in Internet mode? (Right now when I click on the "from" button, I am given a selection of email accounts from my address book).

If not, would any later versions of Outlook allow me to do this while in C/W mode?

The reason I need to be in C/W mode is for compatibility with ACT! 2006 contact manager.

Later version of Outlook don't have a seperate mode (it's all CW), and have an "Accounts" button next to Send to enable you to select the account (Exchnge/POP3/Other). This would be the best option. But make sure only Office 2002/3 unless you want to upgrade your ACT! ... Outlook 2007 only works with ACT! 2008. ACT! 2007/8 also integrate much better with Outlook - you don't need the ACT! email client at all

If that's not possible, one way would be to use Profiles in Outlook, but that may require you to exit and restart to change the account.

There's yet another solution when using Outlook 2000 CW. To find it:
1) Go to 2) Click "CW mode & Outlook 97"
3) Read the first bullet point (about: Tools | Services | Delivery)

Then take away:
NO need to restart Outlook after changing the delivery order, i.e. the 'Sent From' address.
(IMHO more elegant as opposed to using 'profiles')

although Sue hasn't been involved with that site in quite some time, IIRC. It's now run by someone else after Sue sold it off.
