Hi,
Machine is running Win 98 Outlook 97 sr2.

I'd say 6 months ago it got the following error.

MAPISP32 caused an invalid page fault in
module MINET32.DLL at 0137:6e4f5618.

Messages were stuck in the Outbox. I tried doing an inbox repair which didn't work, so then I created a new profile and it worked. I then imported any messages in the inbox (yes they are needed) from the old profile.

All was good for like I said six months. Then Monday this machine reports the same error. So I try a little more this time. I did the inbox repair-still not working, Reran the internet mail enhancement patch--still not working; I manually replaced minet32.dll--still not working; I reinstalled Outlook and the patches--still not working. So then I create a new profile and it works. Once again I imported the needed old messages. All worked until today.

Today the message is back same symptoms can't send or receive and messages in the outbox.

Any theories on why this continues to happen and how I can get this from happening again. It is getting very frustrating when I think it is fixed get it working send test messages, receive test messages, send it out thinking its operation and then the error comes back.

Have a Great Day &
Thanks in advance,
Dan

If you don't import messages and work with the new profile for a few days does the behavior stabalize or does the error start up again? joegz

Thanks for the reply.
That's the problem. As I said, the problem doesn't occur for a few days or even months even if the old mail is imported. I am considering trying to just hose all archives but I don't know if that will fly I don't even know if that will work.

Regards,
Dan
