I reformatted a computer and reinstalled Outlook on the computer. The contact list will not come up on To: or CC: buttons. I went to address book options to change from new to old contacts and only one set of "contacts" is listed.

When I view contacts, I can see all the contacts but it seems to not seeing that contact folders when new mail is being done...Any ideas???

Thanks in advanced

When you click on the To:, the Select Names dialog box comes up.

In the Select Names dialog box, what address list name is displayed in the 'Show Names From The' drop-down?

~~Please, when asking an Outlook question, state the version and whether you are running Exchange Server.~~

Contacts --> It blank with no names!!!!!!!!1

Try going to Tools, Email Accounts, then select "Add a new directory or address book" and click next. Then select "Additional Address Books" and click next, then select "Outlook Address Book." You will then need to close outlook and open it back up.

Next right click on your contacts folder and select properties, then select the "Outlook address book" tab. On that tab make sure that the "Show this folder as an e-mail address book" box is checked.

I think that may work, but if not, I don't know of any other suggestions. :(
