Where are Outlook contacts saved for a user. We don't have personal folder so I want to transfer Outlook contacts and don't know how to do this. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would like to copy from my computer at work to my home computer. We have Windows NT and Exchange Server. Where are the contact files saved? thanks.

The Contacts are located in the store files on the Exchange server. The best way to copy them is to export them. If you are using Outlook on your home computer you can export to a .PST file, otherwise you can use an Excel file format, or a Tab delimited format.

1) In Outlook, go to File->Import and Export
2) Choose 'Export to a file' and click Next
3) Choose the file type and click next
4) Choose the Contacts folder you want to export and click next
5) Choose the name/location of the file and click next
6) Confirm the export by clicking Finish

Now just take this file to your home machine and import it as appropriate to your software.
