I created a new contact folder in Outlook inside my original contact folder. I want to move all those new contacts into the original folder. Is there a way to quick sync or transfer them? I tried dragging them but I keep getting an error: Windows has encountered an error.
I am using Outlook 2003 with Windows XP Home Edition.
Thanks for any help.

Have you tried exporting the sub-contacts (File ->Import and Export...) to a Comma Separated Values (Windows) file and then importing that file into the main contacts? Once they're in the main contacts you can then delete the sub-folder if you don't want it any more.

Cheers.

Thank you as I didn't realize I could do that...however it won't let me export to a file, I get the following error:
Cannot start the required translator...needs to be installed with the Front Page cd or whatever.
Any other suggestions?
XP Home ppppffffftttt !!

Problem not solved. Right click move to folder does nothing. But thanks for the tip.

Does nothing? You don't get the box pop up with your email folders?

No I get nothing. Since then I decided to delete ALL my contacts and get rid of that extra folder. Then I figured I would re-sync my Quickbooks into my regular contacts folder.
I should be able to sync my Quickbooks contacts anytime but this time it says I already did and won't do anything.
Anyone knowing stuff about Quickbooks sync I would greatly appreciate the help as I now have NO contacts in Outlook.
Thanks very much.

Update: I figured out why QB wouldn't let me sync. For anyone's info you need to go into your Quickbooks contact sync preferences and notice the company name, date and time it was last synced. I had to remove that info then I could sync again. Funny, Quickbooks never mentions that....they just say you can re-sync anytime.
