Outlook Contact (cannot show as outlook address book)

Hi

I have a user that is having problems resolving names to entries in his contacts.

The contacts folder is not listed as an outlook address book. I have tried to tick the option to make it an outlook address book, however the option is greyed out?!?!

Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone have a possible solution to the problem?
