My objective is to relocate my Outlook.PST file from its default location (<drive>\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook) to a more convenient folder, and I have successfully done so using the instructions provided at
However, the .MSNPST files generated by the “Outlook Connector for MSN” continue to be created in the original default location rather than the new folder into which Outlook.PST has been moved.

How do I instruct Outlook (or "Outlook Connector for MSN") on where these .MSNPST files are to be located?

Thank you for your assistance.

One solution that I attempted was to create the ForcePSTPath registry key as described in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 883401; however, the modification (unfortunately) had no impact on the default location for the .MSNPST files.

The solution that I employed was to create hardlinks to the existing .MSNPST files in the new folder, using the Windows FSUTIL tool.
