My user is receiving the following message when trying to open a .rtf attachment. "Can't create file: VMSDSRP5.RTF. Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder."
The .rtf file extension is assigned to open with Microsoft Word. Why does it think I want to SAVE, rather than just open this document? Also, I was trying to find the folder it was complaining about permissions. It looked like it was trying to get at a folder "+My Documents". A search for the phase "+my" found a folder C:\Documents and Settings\user.domain\SendTo\+MyDocuments.
Has anyone ever seen a + sign in front of this system folder? Could that be why it can no long open .RTF files?
TIA,
moestroz
