Dear all,
I have exchange server 2003 for a long time and it works fine, and I was able to send emails from outlook from inside company and from home.
these dayes I got this problem
"Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server..."
but I can send from web this problem only from outlook and only from outside ( HOME ).
no thing was changed, I have symantec antivirus for a long time and no thing was changed no firewall at my laptop .
can any one tell me where is the problem.

Disable the Symantec and try it. While you say nothing was changed, I doubt that is the case. Symantec is notorious for providing updates that mess things up. We had a circumstance a few weeks ago where Symantec prevented an entire company from opening any email with an attachment.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
