I'm not sure what exactly is required. If the reason is for a few people to keep an extra schedule then have you thought of a Calendar in Public Folders where they both have editor rights? Or if its a Boss/PA reason, you can get the boss to delegate editor rights of their calendar to the PA, then give the PA rights to the bosses mailbox itself (with folder list view, right click on 'Outlook today - (Mailbox - Boss)' choose properties, then permissions.) You can then configure the PA's Outlook client to open the bosses mailbox as well as their own (Tools-Services-Microsoft Exchange Server-Advanced tab.) The PA can then book appointments on the bosses calendar.
Hope this is of help.
