i have one site that has my Exchange/Win 2k3 server box and another site connected to it via VPN (PIX firewall).

there's only one pc at the site, so i have to enter in the ISP's DNS, as well as the exchange IP as a DNS entry. when I put the ISP DNS as the first entry the Outlook client asks for username/password, and even after checking the "remember my password" it still asks on next opening of the client. When I put in my Exchange box as the first entry it takes about 7 or 8 minutes to connect, then everything is fine. It also takes about 3 minutes to log into the machine with domain credentials when it's configured this way.

anyone know a solution to this?
thanks.

ok- this morning i logged into the two profiles i have on that pc. i brought up Outlook and it asked for credentials, then i exited out using the file menu. When I opened it up again it didn't ask for credentials, on either profile.
i can't believe the culprit was closing outlook by using the little "x".
