Outlook AutoComplete Weirdness on a Deleted Account 1

Issue:
I had a user with a corrupt roaming profile, so I created a similar AD account and then moved all of her mail into it thru Outlook. Once the new profile was determined to be free from any issues, I deleted the older AD account, along with her Exchange account that was linked to it.

Problem:
One, and only one, user in the office is having a recurring issue with his AutoComplete functionality in Outlook giving him the option of selecting both the old e-mail address and the new e-mail address. I've deleted the autocomplete entry when it pops up by striking the DELETE key and it appears to delete that entry. But then next time that you happen to try to send her e-mail both entries pop back up. For examples sake, one of them shows up as "Jane Public <JPublic>" and the other shows up as "Jane Public <JPublic8890>". The one with the numbers on it always is the correct one. Why it has numbers on the end of it is a mystery to me.

This one end user is driving me crazy asking about it all the time, even though I keep telling him to select the one with the numbers!!!! Please help me keep my sanity! LOL
