We have user on a Windows XP Pro machine using Office XP
which Outlook XP connects to an Exchange 2k server.

Due to a problem last week on this PC we had to reinstall
Windows XP over top and that corrected the OS problem.
Now this user tries to log into email and the
authentication box comes up. The users password and
account are valid and she can log into the client
computer with no other problems. Her remaining portions
of her profile seem to be fine. However, when she tries
to log into Outlook/Exchange she gets the message her
credentials are not valid even though we verified they
are including domain. She can log into the web version
of Outlook (OWA) with no problems.

We have removed all exchange accounts from the PC and
tried to readd with no luck. We performed a detect and
repair as well as running SP 2 for office and all other
patches and fixes for Windows and Office.

Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing this. Our
next step is to delete her profile and start over, but we
hope there is some other work around.

Thanks for your help,
Brian
