I am working with Microsoft CDO to email documents. I attach a document and send it off as an attachment. It is a word document but on the other side it opens it as a .tmp file. Is there any way to force it to open as a .doc? I have tried renamaing and changing the attachmant type to no avail.

Outlook attachments

Did you get this working? I was having trouble transferring an attachment from Outlook (MAPI folder) to CDO for W2K. I implemented a workaround, but would love to compare notes on using CDO, attachments and/or newsgroups.
