I have a user who is blind and uses a piece of 3rd party software to ‘read’ the screen out to her so she can ‘see’ what’s there.

Whenever she receives a Rich Text e-mail with a file attached to it, she cannot ‘see’ it, because her software doesn’t seem to have the capability to be able to detect it, however, when the mail comes in as HTML, or Plain Text, the attached file is moved into the header, and she can then open it quite happily by tabbing up to it.

What I need is either:

1. a way to be able to convert any incoming Rich Text formatted mail into either HTML or plain text; obviously, this user doesn’t care about the ‘prettiness’ of the document one way or the other.

2. a way to be able to set Outlook to format all mails so that the attachments are always in their own field within the header (under the Subject field).

Anyone know how I could do this?
