Hello,
I am hoping someone may have encountered this before, and would be able to assist me.

When one of our users tries to open an attachment, Outlook simply directs the user to the C: drive. Or, he will receive a message saying that a file cannot be created. He is unable to save the attachment, since the "Save" button is greyed out.

Please note: This problem occurs with most of the users, but not all, so I am thinking this may be due to permissions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanx in advance.

Just a thought... is there a temp directory on C: ? I found Outlook uses that for storing downloaded attachments.

Mary )

I am experiencing the same problem in an environment using roaming profiles. Has anything turned up to correct this? I already went through the exercise of carefully validating permissions, etc on the the temp directory.
