can anyone help answer an on going office arguement plaese..

in outlook is it possible to send and email with and attachment to a person, and then copy in others so they recieve the email but do not recieve the attachment.

its been driving us mad for ages.. so any help would be much appreciated.

There are no 'out of the box' means by which you can send an attachment to recipients conditionally. The CC and BCC functions are simply to help users determine the relevance of the email to them.

You will likely be able to do this if you write a custom routine, but it is otherwise not possible.

The onyl way to accomplish this is by manually sending the mail to the intended recipients, then FORWARDING the same email (from your sent items, if you use defauly behaviors), strip the attachment and send it off.

FYI; has a decent help section.

Hope this helps.
