Hi,

In Outlook 2000 is it possible to archive particular folders rather than archiving folders from a certain date?

Thanks

You can do it manually (not autoarchive) by going file ->archive and selecting the folder. Then put yesterday's date (or the today's if you like) in the "archive items older than..." box.

Cheers.

Or if you have an archive folder already open in Outlook you can just drag and drop folders into it.

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

Right-click the folder, click Properties, click on AutoArchive tab, then click the appropriate radio buttons and set the time frame and frequency if you want it done automatically.

I have found that most users, when using the File>Archive method tend to forget to make the choice between using Autoarchive settings and the Default settings (which is not going to do it if you have anything other than a basic, default folder structure).
