I no longer have the software on this computer for the palm. But now whenever I open Outlook, I get a securitly message referring the the macro called "palmapp.dot."

Does anyone recognize this? I would guess that it is a Palm file. Don't want to delete it quite yet!

Thanks,
Nick

Yep. That file gets orphaned even when the Palm software is removed. Deleting it causes no problems and cures the Outlook problem because your Outlook is using MS Word as its editor and MS Word tries to load the "palmapp.dot" file and prompts for whether you want to run with macros enabled or not. Getting rid of the "palmapp.dot" file saves the grief of having that prompt repeat.

Your answer made perfect sense. I wanted some confirmation before I went and deleted something.

I deleted the file and wow, no more security prompt!

Thank you very much.
