Depends on a couple of things. If you have multiple partitions with NTFS or FAT32, can you see your ME partition while in 2000? If not, you can leave your .pst file on a remote location, such as a server with a personal folder for you, or something like that, so the file would be accessible from either OS. Maybe some other details might help.
Then by all accounts you should be able to see one personal folder from both instances of Outlook. Just set up Personal Folders under Tools, Services. Save it somewhere, then open it from your other instance. Let me know if you get it OK.
I'm not on a Corporate version... so I don't have "Services" as an option. (Since I use Outlook at work, I noticed there is a difference between the available selections between one that works off of Exchange and one that is home user/Internet only.)
Geeze. Sorry. Wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to the entire string. I apologize. At home, unless you've done something goofy, it's just outlook.pst. Do a search for it.

I was able to add the other outlook.pst by doing File - Open Personal Folders (.pst) and get the other outlook.pst. So now it is part of my Outlook folder collection. BUT I would rather just have it shared rather than create the Personal Folder.
I was thinking, why not just name one of PST Win2K and the other WinMe. Then, set rules for all incoming mail to be moved to one main folder that is common between the two?
