I've seen this somewhere but can't remember where...

Anyway..

I have a dual boot PC (ME and 2000) I want to be able to have Outlook open the same email file in either OS. How do I go about that???

Mary :)

Set outlook up the same way in both systems.
Hope this helps

If its outlook Express its very easy create a folder called mail or something similar, then in OE select Tools->options then selectthe mainainance tab click store folder the point to the folder you want to use, do this in both boots, I use this for keeping my outlook express mails on a separate drive.
If your using outlook 2000 its almost as simple again create a folder called mail, If you are running Outlook in (corporate or workgroup) mode the select tools services then highlight Personal folders and remove this, before you remove it you want to make a note of where outlook stores your PST file so you can copy this into your new folder, next click add then select personal folder and browse to your mail folder where you have copied your pst file to. you can do the same with your personal address book by copying your PAB file into the same Mail folder as the PST file, then under tools->services highlight Personal address book then click properties then browse to the appropriate folder.
Afaik you cant do this in Outlook 2000 running in Internet mail only mode.
Hope this helps.
