Outlook Account Between Two Domains

Good Afternoon,

I use a laptop that I carry between the office and home. No Exchange Server is in operation at either location. The domain names are different between the two sites with both sites using 2000 Server SP4. If I change domains, and open Outlook the system begins to download messages that have already been received under the other domain and vice versa. I am using Outlook 2002 SP1. Any suggestions on how to get around this issue?
