Some of the users on my network are using Outlook 98 on a Windows 2000 PC. One of my users gets this error sometimes when he tries to send messages.
"The SMTP server responded with an error. (Account: 'account@domain.com', SMTP Server: 'mail.domain.com', Error Number: 0x800ccc60).
He is the only one that gets this error. His Outlook settings are the same as everyone elses and everyones account on my mail server has the same settings. It will keep giving him this error for a while, but eventually the message will send and the error will go away for a while. I looked up the meaning of the Error Number and it means that the SMTP server gave an invalid response. That doesn't help me. Does anyone know what this might be from or how to fix it?
