Outlook 98 - Signature Picker greyed out?

That is because you must select your signature in Word if Word is the
editor. Outlook passes that little chore over to Word to complete. While
in Word with it active as the message editor, type into the help window,
"create e-mail signature" and you will see how to create one that works in
Word.
