Outlook 98 Bold Dates in Date Navigator

When I enter events into my calendar the date navigator is automatically set to bold. This works OK up to the end of December 2005. If I enter an event for January 2006 onwards the event is entered OK but the date navigator is not set to bold.
Is there a way to set next year's date to bold or is this a feature to stop us getting too far ahead of ourselves?
