My Boss likes to use Word as his email editor within Outlook 98 as when replying to mail sent in Word, Plain Text or Rich Text format, his Word email editor can AutoCorrect the spelling etc on his reply.

However when replying to messages sent in HTML format, it seems that the Word editor is not initiated and the reply is formed in HTML, bypassing the required features of Word, any idea why this should be, can it be changed?

because your html editor is not set to word. You would have to change that setting for it to work properly. Just remember if you change that, any time he wants to edit an html file, word will open.

Ok WebGodiva, sounds like a good idea, - hopw do I make Word my default HTML editor?

Graham

To set MS word as your HTML Editor.
First open IExplore
click on tools
internet options
then programs
You will then see drop down box next to HTML Editor select word from list.
That should do it for you.
