Outlook 97 out of office reply doesn't work for one user on out networ

Has anyone out there ever had a problem where just one user's out of office reply doesn't respond to the sender a out of office reply. The service is on but there is no reply. I even went to the trouble of logging in as this user and making sure his outlook was set up just like mine. Is there something I'm overlooking and if so let me know.

Have you tried:

Recreating the user's profile on their PC.

Recreating the user's profile on the exchange side.

Doing a Start-Run: outlook.exe /reserver
to reset Outlook?

Does the user's hard drive need to be cleaned up?

I'm not a mail admin, so I'm tons more familiar with the client side...can't think of anything else to try at the moment. Anne Troy

It could be that the Out of Office reply template has gone bad. Microsoft came up with a tool called CleanSweep which fixes this.
