Outlook 97 Empties my deleted items for me! 1

Occasioanly in Outlook all the deleted items are cleared out, but not by me!<br>
I have not selected for it to be emptied in the options, and I don't have auto-archive selected.<br>

The thing that confuses me, is that its very intemitent.<br>

Anyone got any ideas?

Double check your properties for your deleted folder. Are you the Administrator of your email or does someone else do this? The administrator can set the properties on the server to delete all deleted items after a period of time. This is a safety net so that staff cannot fill the server up keeping a bunch of junk on their email. Also you will notice that if you right click on your deleted items folder in the shortcut bar that there is an option to empty the deleted items folder. Could it be possible you are accidently clicking on this?
