Running Outlook 2007 on Win XP [all 32bit].

New email message - type the body text and try and underline a word...either by the underline button or Ctrl U. It appears as though the word isn't being underlined but if you highlight it you can see it's underlined in white. If you send the email the recipient can see the underline in the apporpriate colour [same as text].

I have deleted both Normal.dotm and NormalEmail.dotm but this has had no effect. I have also replaced NormalEmail.dotm with a known working one, also no effect.

WORD is set to be default editor.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Hi,

How is your UNDERLINE COLOR assigned?

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]

That was the question that got me on the right track...thanks. [smile]

Rectified the problem (in Outlook) by going through tools > options > mail format > stationary and fonts > new mail etc

Not entirely sure why this had changed, all I know is it occurred after an upgrade to SAP. So of course, deleting the NormalEmail.dotm etc was not going to have an effect as they were re-created with this default 'white' underline each time.

Just goes to show that it's best to start with the obvious and not be sidetracked by the wierd.
