Outlook 2k and Word Attachement Problem

I have a user using Outlook on a PC, when she receives a word attachement it will open just fine, the next day she can open the same email but the attachement will be gone and only a link will be present. The sender sends as Rich text file bue when I look the next day the email is set to HTML and the link is the title of the attachment. Any help on this would be most appreciated !!! This only seems to happen with Word attachments and from more than one sender.
Acrobat files are fine.
