Outlook 2013 Memory Leak

I have Windows 7 with Office 2013 installed. When Outlook starts you can open Task Manager and watch the amount of memory used grow and grow. Has there ever been a solution to fix this problem? I have went in and turned off all the add-ins and that doesn't help. I've googled the problem and there are all kinds of theories, but has there ever been a solution?

I think the evidence (lack of replies) may indicate that you view that this is a widespread problem is misplaced.

As I watch Outlook 2013 memory usage grow, I agree with the poster, this is a problem. Low memory errors with Outlook listed as the cause. Last kill of the program memory usage was at 12,000,000 K. or 12GB. Writing this it has gone from 1GB to 2GB in 4 lines. Went to make a drink, 3GB. It is like a stop watch now, watching it grab RAM. This problem just started a couple days ago. I will begin researching this issue.

Turns out my issue was related to a bad PST file. Ran SCANPST.EXE on the file. Ended up creating a new default PST file and making an effort to salvage what I could from the original. OUTLOOK (2013) now sitting using 103K and not going wild. I would recommend manually backing up all PST files prior to doing the repair. Then, make a BAK file during the repair too. I will search for a quality repair tool to replace SCANPST since this issue is a recurring one every 5-9 months. I remember finding an option last time this issue occurred.
