outlook 2013 how to delete second contacts

I wanted to import my contacts from another pc, saved them to a thumb drive. started to import them then decided to Cancel. did not want to duplicate all of the emails. I used my full backup from old pc.
now I see a contacts folder linked to a thumb drive that is not plugged in and there is not delete option?
how do I delete this?

also how do I change the view to something other than a list like, cards in the old outlook.
the look of this in Windows 8 is for $@#$@$#

I figured it out:
open Control Panel / Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2013)
click the "data files tab. I could see the offending link to the file.
highlight it then click "remove"
