I would like to write a rule to take designated incoming emails and copy them to a folder on my hard drive. Outlook seems to only want to let me create a folder in Outlook...can't set a rule for an external to outlook folder. Is this possible?

If not, can I find the path to an outlook folder on my C drive?

Thanks,

Is this possible?

Probably not, Outlook saves to a .PST file (Outlook Folders). You could could write some VBA to do that but that would be a question for forum707 rather than here, and forum68 may be more useful for Outlook specific questions.

Outlook saves to OST files as well for IMAP accounts but it makes no difference in the advice given.
