I am puzzled by this: The Outlook 2010 has a checkbox "Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP" checked. If I uncheck it and restart Outlook, it is checked again. It is happening on the LAN and I can't make the Outlook to connect to Exchange. Remote users can use the OA to retrieve their emails. Local user can't. How do I make the Outlook to not use the OA on LAN ? We have a SBS 2011 server.
The olkdisc.log shows that autodiscover.xml was found. There is a line in this XML which is probably wrong, or maybe not. See here:
<Protocol>
<Type>WEB</Type>
<Internal>
here --->> <OWAUrl AuthenticationMethod="Basic, Fba"><Protocol>
<Type>EXCH</Type>
<ASUrl></Protocol>
</Internal>
<External>
<OWAUrl AuthenticationMethod="Fba"><Protocol>
<Type>EXPR</Type>
<ASUrl></Protocol>
</External>
</Protocol>
Why would it want me to use basic forms based authentication on a LAN ? I think that might be the problem, yet got no idea how to fix it.
Thank you for meaningful ideas.
