Hi, this is a small problem for a few weeks now that has me stummped:

I've got 2 workstations, they are set up the same, both have Office 2010 installed - including Word and Outlook.
On the good client the autoformat works fine, if i type "i" Outlook will change it to an "I", if i type "isnt" Outlook will change it to "isn't".

On the bad client none of this works. Everything remains just as you type it. Doesn't capitilize, doesn't add apostrophe's etc....
I have googled this and checked my autocorrect settings in the Editor Options, I've done a repair on the bad client.
I have checked the bad client against the good client and the autocorrect settings are the same.
Also if you run Word on the bad client then autoformat does work. (I thought that Word and Outlook used the same settings).

All testing on both clients were done logged in as the same user.
So I don't know what to do. The user is becoming exasperated - she uses Outlook all day long.
Apart from re-installing (and i'm not even sure it that would do anything) I've run out of ideas.

Oh yeah, they both have the same version of office - they were both installed off the same CD.

hi,

Don't have 2010, but in 2007 Tools > Options > Spelling there are AutoCorrect suff.
