I have Outlook 2007 and it takes a long time to open. Also when I'm trying to chance from Inbox to another folder or contacts it also takes a long time.

I have checked the PC for virus and worms but did not find anything. The PC and other programs are working correctly.

Any suggestions?

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right-click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking. Try it first by not checking either box (this will run it in a Read-only mode) to see if it flags any hard drive or file problems. If it does, restart it by ticking both boxes, and rerun it to allow it to attempt to fix any found problems.

See if you can run the Inbox repair tool on your .pst file.

The file you want it to scan is probably located at
C:\Users\Usernamexxxx\Documents\Outlook Files

Run "outlook.exe /resetnavpane" as mentioned in this article and see if that helps.
