If I receive an email from a colleague in Germany, "sometimes" if I reply, the default language of the spell checker reverts to German not English.
My default language is English (UK). All other obvious settings on the PC are English (UK). This seems to be a bug rather than a fault with the PC/installation as it happens with other users here.
I've seen messages suggesting removing an entery from the Registry or installing Office 2003 spell check but I don't think that's quite the same.
I've un-ticked the "detect language automatically" but it seems quite random as to whether it works or not.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Richard
